Refund and Returns Policy

Version 2.0 · Effective 28 October 2026 · Contact contact@kekere.online

Kekere is a marketplace. Job payments are made directly from the client's bank account to the tradesman's bank account. Kekere does not collect, hold, split, release or refund job payments.

1. Job payments

  • The client pays the tradesman directly after the work is complete.
  • Kekere shows the bank details frozen when the bid was accepted.
  • The client marks the transfer as sent; the tradesman confirms when it arrives.
  • A bank transfer is between the client and the tradesman. Kekere cannot reverse it, recall it, or guarantee that it will be returned.
  • The client should not send money before the work is complete or to an account that was not shown on the job.

2. Cancellation before payment

If no money has been sent, the client can cancel the job before work starts. There is nothing for Kekere to refund because Kekere never received the job payment.

3. Payments already sent

Once the client has sent money directly to the tradesman:

  • Kekere cannot collect it back from the tradesman.
  • Kekere cannot guarantee a refund from its own funds.
  • The client can record a dispute on the job. Support can review the evidence and flag or suspend the tradesman, but a refund is not automatic.
  • The client may also raise the matter with their bank. That process is outside Kekere and its outcome is not controlled by Kekere.

4. Credits

Bidding credits (Kekere's bidding currency) are separate from job payments.

  • One credit is spent when a bid is submitted.
  • Withdrawing a bid, or having it rejected, does not return the credit.
  • Unused credits remain in the wallet.
  • If a credit purchase was charged but the credits were not delivered, contact support with the payment reference. Kekere will investigate with Paystack.
  • Credit purchases are subject to Paystack's payment terms.

5. Disputes

A dispute is a record for review. It does not pause or hold money and does not create a right to a refund.

Support may record an outcome such as no action, a warning, or a suspension. The outcome is about the tradesman's account; it does not move money.

6. How to contact us

Email contact@kekere.online with:

  • the job title and job ID
  • the amount and date
  • what happened
  • any receipt, bank reference or screenshots

We will review the record and tell you what action we can take. We cannot promise a refund for money that has already reached a tradesman.
